Wearable Mouse Concept From Microsoft : A Techno-wonder In Our Hands - Gizmo Watch

Wearable Mouse Concept From Microsoft : A Techno-wonder In Our Hands - Gizmo Watch: "The sheer speed with which technology is moving ahead makes it hard for us to keep abreast with all the new inventions that take place everyday. Making life better and easier is the only way to explain such efforts and this concept right here is no exception to this assumption. The repetitive exercise of moving your hand to and fro to type on the keyboard and then scroll the cursor can get really irritating for some Fortunately, now Microsoft has a remedy for this. This wearable mouse concept from Microsoft enables you to wear the mouse over your hand and scroll the cursor by making a fist, while the left and right click can be activated with your thumb. Apparently, it uses the same technology as Wiimote and works on the gyroscopic principle. Only time will tell how soon this concept catches up but once it does, I am excited to see what replaces this one, I mean what could be more convenient than this?"

Microsoft Xune: Integrating The Music World With The Gaming Domain! - Gizmo Watch

Microsoft Xune: Integrating The Music World With The Gaming Domain! - Gizmo Watch: "Anyone who knows about the Zune will tell you that Microsoft’s venture has not been as popular as Apple’s version of the Mp3 player that you can carry around in tour pocket. It just seems that it never became as popular as the Nano and it has not spread across the globe the way Microsoft would have hoped it would. Irrespective of that fact, Microsoft has gone ahead to make the Xune- An amalgamation of the music world and the gaming domain, with a slight touch of an iPod. Basically we’re dealing with the Xbox 360 controller with a touch of Mylo and iPod Nano. The console also features shoulder buttons, a touch-wheel with a center button, a sliding keyboard and 4:3 ratio aspect ratio screen. The keyboard will be used for web surfing, email and chat, while the device is compatible with the Xbox 360 and Windows Media Center.

It even is probably going to get its own widescreen version and that would be cool too. But the rate at which cell phone technology is growing and the rate at which companies like Nokia and Sony Ericsson are making progress, I suppose mobiles will replace this anyway in course of time. It would be very interesting to see if the Xune does commercially better than the Zune. Personally I have my doubts about it because of the fact that maybe not too many addicted to the Xbox might prefer the new smaller version fit for travel. Also, I just don’t think Microsoft has done enough with the Zune to get the word going around on Xune now. All that being said I wonder if we will see iPod being merged with Wii! I would like that for sure.
